Nutrition in triathlon training may be one of the most important and neglected aspects of the amateur triathlon. Professional triathletes are allergic to nutritional needs during training and during competitions. However, the nutrition of amateur triathletes often becomes slack or does not have enough nutritional plans to suffer the consequences of poor performance. To truly achieve the success of the Triathlon, you must focus on nutrition for the best results.

Staging

The first aspect of nutrition is staging. It is very difficult to strictly control the diet during the whole year of training. Personally, I must have time to "relax the belt" and enjoy a good cheeseburger. So, understand that just as there are stages in your training, your nutrition will be staged. For example, when you zoom out on matchdays, you may become very strict with your diet about 8-12 weeks before the game. This gives you enough time to lose your extra weight...
