Do you know the connection between your body and mind? How often do you think this connection is? Have you noticed the impact of your thoughts on your inner feelings? Do you realize that your physical feelings will change your mind? Change one you change another.
There is no separation between body and mind. Our bodies do not act on their own. In fact, even the so-called involuntary physical response is regulated by our own ideas. Senior yogis and others have revealed that our bodies are capable of performing feats, which we generally consider impossible:
• We can control and slow down the breath
• We can keep body temperature in cold water or walk on hot coal
• We can pierce our body with sharp metal without pain and scars
• We can twist and bend the body into various distorted postures
• We can balance on tight ropes and perform amazing gymnastics stunts
• We can break the world racing record or complete a perfect Olympic routine
Anything that was once created by humans was originally conceived in someone's mind and later created and designed into physical form. Every cell in our body works with the help of our life thoughts, according to the instructions provided by our DNA.
When our heart stops beating and our brains stop working, our bodies will not continue to function. Our legs don't walk. Our arms are no longer lifted and our eyes are not visible. Our brains and spirits control all our body functions. Our body responds to the thoughts in our hearts.
Change the mind and the cells in our body will react. We are full of emotions throughout the body. Just look at the posture of a depressed person [the shoulders collapse and stare down]. Then observe the posture of a person who has just successfully completed what he or she really wants [standing high, smiling, head high, maybe a weapon in the air].
Our body does not lie. It reveals to us the way we have been thinking and feeling. If we are really troubled by someone in our life, then this person may have become "the pain in our neck." If we feel unsupported emotionally and / or economically, we may have severe back pain. If we feel that we want to escape a situation we cannot leave, we may have problems with the feet, ankles, knees or legs.
The way to heal your emotions and body is to pay attention to your thoughts and pay attention to your physical symptoms. There may be some important information about what works, what doesn't, and may need to change lives, lifestyles, emotional states, or relationships. The spiritual/physical connection cannot be ignored.
