Karen Steen from Olympia [Washington State] to the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh, with the intention of creating a world record for the 2000m obstacle course and doing this in the most exciting competition of the 2009 American Masters Outdoor Athletics Championships a little. Six world records and 21 US records were set at the meeting.
Steen is an excellent player at Pacific Lutheran University and is now one of the best players in the Pacific Northwest. When the guns at the Titan Stadium sounded, they started the 45-49 age group. From the outset, it is clear that if Steen set a world record in the hot state of Wisconsin, she will run alone on the front line.
She is one of more than 1,000 athletes between the ages of 30 and 95 who participated in a four-day competition to determine the best athletes among national runners, jumpers and throwers.
Steen's onlookers on the record, including myself, immediately realized her presence, because the audiophile quickly pointed out...
