3 ways to keep your attention to the news without losing your mind

If you are like me, logging in to Facebook or reading news can be an emotional turmoil. Depending on the news, it can even be a trigger for anxiety. Worse; it can change my energy and change the course of my day because it will affect me.

I am very happy to be a sensitive person and deeply feel the things. I think this is a good life experience and I will never change it. However, for those who are as open and sensitive as I do, you know that sometimes the truth of the matter can impress you in such a deep resonance, without other appropriate reactions, only sadness and tears.

It is important to keep abreast of current events. It's valuable to understand what's going on in the world and get involved, so that your voice hears topics that are important to you. But keeping your own health and wellness at the forefront of your attention is also essential.

Here are three things I want to do to help me maintain a high level of foundation and vibration [even if things are happening in our world.]

Set a timer

Social media and mobile phones in their pockets are easily bombarded with news. We must decide how much to invest in health and well-being every day. Checking our phone every 30 minutes doesn't change the world or what happens - but it will change you.

For me, my biggest news/social media saturation was about 45 minutes this week. I usually check with the world for about 30 minutes in the morning, and then I will stay in the afternoon for 10-15 minutes later in the afternoon.

I am also a firm believer in fasting. News and social media are fasting, that's it. It's important to spend a whole day or even the entire weekend without logging in to social media or reading news on your computer. All of us have more important lives and experiences than our screens [news and social media]. I recommend that you consider how to spend time and make sure that the time spent on each experience is consistent with the level of experience or people in your life. For example, if I perform in the unconscious, I can easily spend more time on Facebook than with my husband. Because my husband is more important to me than Facebook, when I live consciously and give priority to it, I will find more happiness, love and connection.

Each of us has natural wisdom, and when we keep putting things in, we don't have time to let this wisdom come out. In addition, when we read things that put pressure on us, our bodies are filled with stress hormone cortisol.

Christopher Bergland said: "For years, scientists have known elevated levels of cortisol: interfering with learning and memory, reducing immune function and bone density, increasing weight gain, blood pressure, cholesterol, heart disease... this list continues Appears. Chronic stress and elevated cortisol levels also increase the risk of depression, mental illness and reduced life expectancy."

I see how difficult it is for my clients to use their phones and computers every day. I know that for some [many] people, the frequency of self-controlling their "login" is a challenge. However, when most people allow it to affect their health and really fall into it, it is clear that it must be monitored by your self-control.

Choose when you are participating

The time to choose to read news and social media is very important. It is not wise to emphasize yourself before you go to work, before having dinner with your family, climbing to bed or participating in the creative process. Knowing that you may see or read something that will have an emotional reaction in you, you must choose the best time to accept this input.

I like to participate in news and social media in the morning before the exercise. Nothing can help me control stress more than exercise and nature. If I am triggered by news emotions in my feed, then I go outdoors to run, I can come back and start my workday with energetic energy. If I read the news on the day I started working, I would find it difficult to take up space, think clearly or be creative.

If I log in in the afternoon, I will try to buffer it by sitting on my porch and enjoying nature for 5 minutes or holding a single dance. In this way, I make sure that when I enter the last part of my day, for me to have dinner and time with my family, I can be completely with them and experience the depth and breadth of my happiness.

End in a positive way

I like to have a list of websites, songs, videos, stories and poems that can inspire my vibrations and make me optimistic, positive and hopeful about our world. Negatives are easily saturated - but there is a certain amount of positive [if not more]. People help each other, they show goodwill to each other, they give themselves, they care about animals and nature. Let yourself witness and feel its ascension. Take care to get the perspective and view the entire picture so that your focus [thoughts and feelings] are not identified as a negative factor in our world. Take a few minutes to end in a positive way like the mint after dinner. It makes your brain full of sweet and fresh taste.
