Seed is a nutrient power

Plants have a perfect design method to ensure the survival of their species. Every flower or fruit produced by a plant is filled with seeds. Some seeds are microscopic, just like the seeds of orchids, small and look like dust. Others are huge, such as the seeds of palm trees native to Seychelles, which can grow up to 12 inches long and weigh up to 40 pounds.

Although they vary in size, all of these seeds have something in common; they are full of nutrients. Nature does not know what type of soil or nutrients are available externally. In order for each seed to obtain the best chance of fighting under conditions conducive to germination, the plant contains a variety of essential nutrients that can maintain the seedlings until their roots are able to extract nutrients from the soil.

These seeds come in a wide variety of edibles and add nutrients, flavors and new textures to our regular diet. They can also be used as an alternative to allergen products, such as certain nuts, as well as those that are undernourished, such as wheat crackers. Add some seeds or snacks to your diet every day and you will get valuable vitamins, minerals, protein and essential fatty acids to your diet. Choose the original natural seeds for maximum benefit. Baking breaks down many essential nutrients and can even produce substances that are toxic to your system. This also applies to sugar coated seeds, no matter how attractive the chocolate coated sunflower seeds are.

Many of these seeds can be thrown into the salad to add texture and nutrients. Other seeds can be used to make seed butter, similar to almond butter, which can be eaten as a nutritious snack between meals. Sunflower seeds are rich in vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that supports healthy cells. Sunflower seeds also provide magnesium, which is believed to help lower cholesterol. Finally, sesame is a mineral powerhouse with manganese, copper, calcium, zinc, iron and phosphorus. They also provide vitamin B1, which is believed to have a positive effect on lowering cholesterol.

The list of edible seeds is long and the taste and texture are different. Search for them in your local supermarket and add them to your favorite dishes and replace some of your snacks with these highly nutritious options. When you travel, bring something, and the choice of nutritious food seems hard to find.
