When writing any training program, it is important to meet the changes based on the time the athlete needs the most skill in the next training session. For ex] Intermediate and advanced athletes can participate in aerobics competitions in less than 3 weeks; unless you are attending a summer competition/travel team training, it is meaningless to waste valuable training time/energy at the beginning of the summer. Although you can get a good aerobic shape in 3-4 weeks, it takes longer to build true physical strength. Unbalanced projects focus on killing athletes when they are lifting weights and being bigger/stronger. For wrestlers, a good pre-season weightlifting program will spend most of their time on strength training, with hard heart training directly in the last few weeks to get the most out of all the attributes needed for competition.
