Three levels of self-defense

There are three levels of minimum self-defense level. Usually different martial arts schools teach several levels of 3 to 8 levels. The minimum will always be 3.

According to my personal experience, 5 levels are the most effective. But this does not destroy the three levels, which are more or less effective, especially for beginners. Because more levels can complicate things.

Let's start at three levels.

1. Consciousness and escape.
The most important thing is to understand your surroundings and the challenges you face. By determining your current situation, you will have a clearer picture of what you have to do. Revenge, defend or escape.

The first thing to know is where you are.
are you alone?
Is this a dangerous dark area?
Can you call for help? One
Is there an escape route?

These are just a few things you need to be aware of. Then you need to know your enemy. Is there one or more? He has weapons, can you defend?

After that, you need to determine the evasion process. If it is a weapon, what can you use to protect yourself. A wooden board. trash can. No matter what you can use. Or, if it's a gun, maybe you should just follow your attacker.

2. Defend and retaliate.

Protect yourself at all costs. If you are attacked, there is no way. Defensive.
Using anything means you have to make sure that you are not physically hurt. Use the weapons you can find. a bottle. a stick. a rock. Anything you can find.

There will be retaliation or counterattacks. You can stop the attack and quickly hit your attacker to stun him.

Dizziness and sputum

Amazing attackers can give you some time to give you a chance to escape. The best way to stun an attacker is to hit vulnerable parts such as the groin, eyes, head and throat area.

Once shocked, you can decide to escape or disable your attacker. It means to get rid of the battle through a powerful blow. The use of weapons is most effective here. Whether it is a severe blow to the head or groin, your attacker will leave the battle and give you time to escape and ask for help.

This is level 3 self-defense. Usually other martial arts schools teach different levels of form. But it is usually the combination of the above. Some schools teach self-defense at level 5 or higher.

The last words.

By recognizing and not putting yourself at risk first, you can prevent yourself from needing to protect yourself. Know your location, where you are going and your identity. If you are in a group, you are likely to reduce the likelihood of being attacked by 99%. Never walk alone in the middle of the night.
