Rubenfeld Synergy Method - Developed by Ilana Rubenfeld
RSM helps us learn to listen to the body, understand habit patterns and nervousness, and decode their information so that we can make specific improvements in our daily lives and relationships. Rubenfeld Synergy is unique in that it uses conversation and touch together. Touching raises emotional and physical awareness and allows us to explore levels that are difficult to access individually through conversation.
Integrated Physical Psychotherapy [IBP] from
- Founded by Dr. Jack Lee Rosenberg, further collaborating with Jungian analysts Diana Asay and Dr. Marjorie Rand.
IBP provides a unique way for therapists and clients to track the interruption of the body and mind, making it the core guiding principle of the body's core self-awareness. Psychological interruptions include emotional patterns and beliefs that occur early in childhood, habitually distorting current experiences [primary scenarios], our protective defenses [role styles], and how we give up our core self to gain love and recognition [agents]. If we don't know the difference between psychological interruption and core self, we can't believe our intuition and inner voice.
Your inner voice is equally important in exploring the journey of life, the dilemma of human existence - the problems that exist. We must all face the problems that cannot be answered in life: loneliness, death, life, impermanence, aging, authenticity, creativity, integrity, infinity and so on. In other words, all kinds of things happen in life. This is not something that happens to you, but how you deal with things that determine your health and quality of life internally. IBP teaches you how to get the vitality of all aspects of your life from your core wisdom.
Core Energetics, created by John Pierrakos, MD
John Pierrakos, founder and founder of CoreEnergetics®, often said that the purpose of life is to enable each of us to harness our potential as human beings. But what prevents us from becoming our abilities? The simplest answer is that we learn to suppress ourselves. Through the challenges of growing up in imperfect families and imperfect worlds, we all learn to build protective walls. As a result, we have limited our vitality and cut off our essence, our spirit.
.... Compared to traditional conversational therapy, Core Energetics is a journey of personal healing and self-discovery. Under the guidance of well-trained core energetic practitioners, customers will have the opportunity to recover irrelevant emotional truths and discover the core qualities that enable them to find personal satisfaction. This is achieved by supporting clients to move their bodies in a specific way that allows for deeper self-awareness and release of frozen emotions such as anger, fear, sadness, need, sexiness and ultimate love. Through the Core Energetics experience, customers can learn to live more fully in their bodies and live more openly in their hearts.
Bioenergy analysis from
- Rooted in Wilhelm Reich's work, founded by Alexander Lowen, Bioenergetic Analysis helps release chronic muscle tension, manages influence, expands intimacy, cures difficulties, and learns new, more fulfilling ways related to others. Gentleness, aggression, advocacy - and their integration in sexual behavior - are seen as core lifesaving forces. Therapeutic relationship provides a safe place to start treatment. The therapist reads the body, resonates with energy, feels emotions, listens, hears and answers words. The language of the body [posture/posture, breathing, motivation, expression] is the focus because it indicates the state of personality on the road - from the past to the present and the future. The techniques used address the individual's energetic aspects, including her self-awareness, self-expression and self-owning. These also include physical contact, boundaries, foundations, and an understanding of muscle tension as an indication of the physical and psychological defenses of past trauma. The goal of treatment is not just no symptoms - it is energetic, happy, happy, loving - healthy and healthy.
Bodynamics - founded by Lisbeth Marcher
Bodynamics starts with the premise of mutual contact - [When I am all of mine, you are all us, can we build deep connections?] - is the basic driving force for development and growth. Our research shows that there are a number of basic themes around which connections, bonding and attachment occur. Our clinical experience suggests that disorders of the primary childhood relationships associated with these themes lead to development or, in some cases, to traumatic distortions.
.... The Bodynamic system combines deep cognitive psychotherapy with emphasis on relationships and conducts new research into the development of children's psychomotors. Integrate the body into the treatment by understanding the psychological function of each muscle.

the study
Physical psychotherapy research is rare and usually focuses on individuals. The following pilot study found that physical psychotherapy can and does improve couples' communication, decision-making and sexual behavior.
A pilot study used body psychotherapy techniques with couples, one of whom had a traumatic brain injury while the other did not. The goal is to understand that the common problems of these couples are effectively addressed through physical or physical psychotherapy interventions. Quantitative testing is used to measure marital satisfaction and emotional health. A 20-page self-report questionnaire was presented before and after physical therapy. Some of the topics raised include: decision making, sexual behavior, self-identity, family, finances and sadness. The study took 12 weeks: 2 intakes, 9 weeks of body treatment and 1 end. Three couples participated. Marriage satisfaction has increased significantly. Participants noted: improving self/partnership awareness/ability, improving communication/linkage, and increasing presence/reflection.
