How to say, so the teenager will listen and listen, so the teenager will talk

Adolescence is painful for both teenagers and parents. Today, young people face many challenges, as do parents. The more social changes, the more challenges teenagers face. Everyone must go through their teenage years. In the modern world, everything about teenagers is unique. They are dressed differently. They behave differently, even the way they talk. As we all know, teenagers are unsafe, moody, controversial, impulsive, vulnerable, reckless and rebellious.

There are several principles that can help guide young people through tough times. They include;

Learn to communicate

Endless verbal battles often make you exhausted, frustrated, and should be set aside when communicating with young people. When communicating with young people, the following factors should be considered

• Don't shout. Shouting screams weakens your authority and gives your child a strategic advantage.

• Serious meetings. The crisis situation requires confidentiality. Do not do so in public places and ensure that they are communicated without blaming or judging the seriousness of the situation.

• The limit of freedom. Explain to teens that you can't let him or her freely do whatever he or she wants to do.

• Apologize when you are at fault. A true parent's apology can go a long way with teenagers. It builds respect for you and restores the connection between you.

• Sharpness. The parent or guardian should always indicate his or her intention to correct unacceptable behavior and explain the errors.

• Define the behavioral frontier. A teenager should know that even if he or she is growing up and becoming independent, it does not mean that he or she can be alone at home.

• Develop rules that you will not compromise. These rules will let your child know that if he chooses to disobey you from this point, you must take drastic measures.

Active listening

Active listening is very important to narrow the overall gap. Parents should listen without being angry, don't blame and judge, and don't call. This makes young people more open.

Rules for parenting.

Parents have the right to deprive their adolescents of the privileges they have not obtained. For example, parents have the right to expect good performance in school, have the right to oppose fanaticism, and have the right to set standards that are relevant to adolescents.

Job responsibility

Home is a testing lab where every teenager can practice the art of living and hard work. Teenagers need to understand life and how to live before taking on the responsibility of adult life. Every teenager should learn to cook, take care of clothing, buy groceries, balance the budget, take care of the garden and plan social activities.

motivation

Teenagers need incentives and rewards always appeal to them. This is a way to get them closer.

Never refuse

You are mature and young people are immature. Teenagers may reject your efforts, but you must never reject him. No matter how traumatic the situation is, be firm and full of love.

Teenagers need parental love, support and guidance, and teenagers are always ready to listen and talk.
