In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the outstanding students of the famous medical school of Kampala, known as Kampala, became one of the top three high jumpers in Africa and the Commonwealth. Abraham Kwadu Munabi, born on December 19, 1940, is like Uganda's 1960s champion sprinter Amos Omolo, who apparently participated in the major sports competitions in his later years.
