What should I consider when choosing a cricket helmet?

Since cricketers under the age of 18 now need to wear cricket helmets as a standard, many parents find it difficult to choose a child's safety.

There are many criteria to be met when purchasing a cricket helmet.

  • Head gear must perform its primary function to prevent injury.

  • The helmet must be comfortable to wear and light in weight and, if properly installed, will be unstable during running.

  • All helmets must be marked with a kite and meet British standards

All reputable cricket experts will only purchase helmets that have passed the required safety tests. So choosing a helmet really comes down to comfort and budget. Most of the latest cricket helmets have some adjustments to ensure user comfort. By using a combination of helmet nut settings, the grid can be positioned to prevent cricket from passing under the visor while still allowing good visibility.

The chin strap should be adjusted to prevent the helmet from falling off during the period.
