Types of skin cancer - differences and commonalities

Search for "types of skin cancer" and you will find a lot of information. The three most common types of skin cancer, as you will find, are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and malignant melanoma.

You can find it in medical terms or simplify it with a layman. It is very useful for you to understand its display and growth and its photos.

I will cover each of them and tell you what I have included is the most important for all of them, even the more rare ones not covered here.

Starting from basal cells, it rarely spreads and grows slowly. It first manifests itself as a small increase in the skin, which is usually undetected at first. It usually doesn't pose a big threat, but it works in time.

This is my recent experience. I noticed a small increase in my chin line. A few weeks later, there is a little next to it. I immediately went to my dermatologist to perform a biopsy as a basal cell carcinoma. It was removed 100% by Mohs surgery and found to travel approximately 3 inches from the eye. I am very happy! It has been invisible for a long time.

Next is squamous cell carcinoma. It also grows slowly and is hard to notice in the early stages. It may be more severe than basal cells because it can spread inward to vital organs. It first appears as growth and looks innocent. I have gained experience in this area in 1990. It has evolved to stage 3, which requires the entire traditional arsenal to destroy it, ... chemotherapy... major surgery... and radiation.

The third most common form of skin cancer is the most deadly malignant melanoma. It can be expressed as new sputum growth, freckles or existing sputum, showing some changes. Melanoma can quickly spread to internal organs without being detected; there is a fatal danger. That's why you should see a dermatologist to check those moles, especially when you see any changes. If you are over 40 years old, it is not a bad idea to go once a year if you are over 50 years old.

So you see the difference between these three types of skin cancer, but pay close attention to what they have in common, that is, the growth of your skin. You can go online and learn about the different looks, but keep in mind that they are all unusual growth on your skin. Growth is not limited to ascension; it may change the color of the skin, the spread of discoloration or a piece of dry scaly skin, ... anything unusual. It may also not match any descriptions or photos you see. It's all worrying and it's worth seeing your health professionals.

Therefore, the important message here is that by understanding yourself, you can play an important role in early discovery. Notice what happened, even before the doctor started.

The good news is that they are extremely curable at the time of early detection.

Control your health.
