Step aerobics - the official death of fashion in the 80s?

Now, before you are crazy... listen to me.

I have been in the health and fitness industry [more specifically, the health club] for a while, I really have to say that if I create a club from scratch... I will not participate in the aerobics program at all. .

why?

Because I have never really seen these programs.

Of course, I have seen people start to lose weight with step aerobics, but they tend to plateau very quickly, and the plateau causes frustration. Frustration leads to suspicion and suspicion leading to failure.

Studies have shown that aerobic exercise can burn valuable muscles and produce atrophic effects on the heart and lungs. Now, of course, I will not take aggressive cardiovascular disease that really challenges the body.

No, I am referring to activities that try to "let you" reach a certain target rate... you know... boast of the "burning fat" area.

Listen to this:

Yes, when you operate at a certain level of effort, your body burns more calories than fat, just as most people participate in step aerobics and other activities.

However, what you really miss is the "post-combustion" effect that other types of exercises can provide. Most people lose any and all of the benefits of metabolism within 30 minutes of completing aerobic exercise. In contrast, interval training and weight training can provide 72 hours of metabolic boost, and you can now begin to understand why many people who are actually more rigorously trained on the sports field look and feel better than their "steps" aerobics. "Correspondence.

I'm sure you've seen all the aerobic DVDs and tapes listed in Wal-Mart and even TV...

Don't waste your money.

Most people will only shoot these tapes in a short time and then they will quit.

why?

No results... too convenient... it gets stale...etc.

Keep in mind that your body is an incredible collection of systems, and it is great to be able to adapt to any given stimulus. Having said that, another disadvantage of step aerobics is that you always do the same thing over and over again, and you adapt.

Adaptation = no result

Although step aerobics has a benefit...

Most of the aerobic classes are very social, and this social atmosphere can actually help people continue their exercise program.

I like social activities and exercise... Correctly formatted correct social plans can bring you incredible results.

Unfortunately, aerobics really doesn't fit the bill I think "correctly formatted."
