Save money and make a simple salad at home

One thing I like to do dinner is that my family likes to eat, just make a salad. It's simple, cheap, fun, healthy and always different; add one to my book!

The only job is to make the salad ingredients salad friendly [cut into a bite size], if you want meat, don't use leftovers, you need to cook the meat. Cut into thin slices or pieces of meat, chopped cheese and carrots, sliced or diced vegetables... The main thing is to let them bite and how you like them. Many items have been prepared, such as nuts, thawed peas, chopped cheese, fried bread pieces [unless you make them yourself!] and dried fruits.

You can use anything on hand, which is great for salads, including leftovers [a good way to save money]. Almost everything is now suitable for salads, so be creative. Once the ingredients are made, simply place them on the table top or on the table top, and finally include salad dressing, homemade seasoning and/or oil and vinegar.

Here are some of the ingredients you can use in the salad bar:

NUTS: Think about all the different nuts and how they make each salad unique... Honey roasted peanuts, regular roasted peanuts, sunflower seeds, smoked almonds and candied walnuts are my favorites.

Greens: Green and lettuce also come in many varieties... think of Rome, icebergs, spinach and cages. Each one will add a different twist to your salad bar. You can even choose green, but I usually use only one type per bar because I want to keep it simple and cheap. I like to get the salads and mixes that have been cut when they are sold.

Cheese: Cheese is a great ingredient for salad bars. There are parmesan, cheddar, mozzarella, feta cheese, blue cheese and many other foods.

Vegetables: There are many different vegetables, and you can even prepare your salad bar in different ways, such as grilling or baking or marinating. Of course the easiest way is to cut them into fresh ones! Use your favorite salads that you have never tried before, such as asparagus, broccoli or broccoli.

Fruit: I like the fruit on the salad, especially with meat. For example, bacon and oranges are one of my favorites. Let's see... Ham and pineapple, pork and apple are a pair of people who come to mind. Don't forget the dried fruit. Dried cranberries, pineapples, raisins and many other foods add a lot to the salad.

Dressing: I have a variety of bottled dressings on hand [I buy it at the time of sale], and sometimes I can make it myself. To reduce the calories of high-calorie cream condiments, I give them vinegar and/or milk. For me, their taste actually gets thinner. It can also make your salad thinner.

SALAD TOPPERS: Although I can save money and make my own fried croutons, I like to buy them to save time. I have recently seen other items like fried bread, such as seasoned tortilla chips for salads, but you can always use broken cornflakes to save money.

I hope this will inspire you to try making homemade salads!
