Carnival Cruises Insider Tips

Carnival Cruises is one of the best holidays you can take. Whether it's your first cruise or your tenth use of these tips, make your Carnival cruise more enjoyable. These tips are based on the personal experience of me and other passengers.

1. Do not put all items in one bag. Divide the clothes into several bags. This way, if one of the bags is lost, you will still have clothes until you find another bag.

2. Carry essentials [pharmaceutical, passport and cruise documents] with you. Take it with you until your room reduces the possibility of losing these items.

3. Carry the Ziploc bag with you. These are ideal for small items because you don't want to get wet. On the other hand, they are also very suitable for placing wet swimsuits after ashore tour.

4. Bring your own aspirin, small toiletries and sunscreen. Although you can get these items on board, it is usually cheaper to buy them before the cruise.

5. Notify your bank or credit card company in advance and tell them where you will travel. A quick call reminds them that your card will be used outside the United States.

6. Upon arrival at the cruise terminal, you will receive a sign and a sail card. This will be used for all purchases on board and to leave and return to the ship at the port. Once boarded to the casino, they will give you a lanyard and punch in to attach the lanyard. This is a great way to make sure you don't lose your card.

7. Carry your notebook with you. This way you can record your cruise every day. It's easy to forget what you're doing with all the activities you're going to do.

8. Check your restaurant seating arrangements as soon as possible on the first day. If you find that it does not match your preferences, please contact Matrade and he should be able to change your seat.

9. If you have a balcony room and have friends staying in the next door, ask the room butler to open the balcony. You can also do it yourself with a set of small tongs [Leatherman].

10. Each boat sells drinks that can be collected by Monkey Head. The monkey head is carved into a coconut that looks like a monkey with a plastic cup filled with the drink of the day. Although these novel items are usually sold out, advance payment is worthwhile.

11. Arrive at the cruise terminal as soon as possible. Although you are often told that the loading won't start early in the afternoon, you can usually board the plane before noon. This gives you time to explore the boat, eat and drink a few cups. Please note that you may not be able to enter your room immediately, but it is not necessary to carry everything you need.

12. If you plan to play slot machines in the casino, they are usually "more lenient" a few days before the cruise, so I was told.

13. If you have not booked an onshore tour before cruising, please check the items provided shortly after boarding. Many popular shore excursions will be sold out in the first day.

14. If you are traveling with a child, bring a small drink cooler. You can fill it with free lemonade and save it in your room. This saves the dining area every time you need a drink.

15. If you are a coffee drinker, please order a cup of coffee the night before, and your room butler will bring it to your room in the morning.

16. Every day the menu changes, although if you don't see what you like, there is usually something for everyone. Both the waiter and the chef want you to be happy and will usually accommodate you.

17. You can order as much food as you need. If you want two identical projects, don't be afraid to ask.

18. If you drink beer, it is usually cheaper to buy it in a bucket. The bucket contains four beers and is filled with ice and kept refrigerated.

Short trips on the shore can be fun but don't think you have to book. Sometimes it is interesting to explore and even leave the boat that is usually empty on board.

20. The most important tip is to have fun. The staff will try to make your cruise a pleasant one, but no one is perfect. If you have any questions, please let the staff know that they will do their best to help you.
